Acid(ATMP)?
This product is miscible with water. It has excellent scale inhibition performance at 200°C, good
stability, and excellent effect on calcium carbonate scale. And it can form stable complexes with
various metal ions such as iron, copper, aluminum, zinc, etc., and has good dispersion performance. When
the dosage exceeds 40ppm, it also has good corrosion inhibition performance.
How about its performance and applications?
ATMP has good chelation, low limit inhibition and lattice distortion. It can prevent the formation of
scaling salts in water, especially the formation of calcium carbonate scale. ATMP is chemically stable
in water and not easily hydrolyzed. When the concentration in water is high, it has good corrosion
inhibition effect.
ATMP is used in thermal power plants, circulating cooling water in oil refineries, and oilfield
reinjection water systems. It can play a role in reducing corrosion and scaling of metal equipment or
pipelines. ATMP is used as a metal ion chelating agent in textile printing and dyeing industries, and
can also be used as a metal surface treatment agent.
