Inhalation Cough. Sore throat. Use local exhaust or breathing protection. Fresh air, rest.
Skin Redness. Burning sensation. Itching. Protective gloves. Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
Eyes Redness. Pain. Wear safety goggles. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then refer for medical attention.
Ingestion Abdominal pain. Nausea. Vomiting. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating. Rinse mouth. Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONSCIOUS PERSONS!). Refer for medical attention.
The substance is obtained by neutralization of hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid with a sodium hydroxide solution, followed by spray drying.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is HEDP Na2?
HEDP Na2 is an organic phosphoric acid scale and corrosion inhibitor, which can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and can dissolve oxides on the metal surface. HEDP·Na2 can still play a good role in corrosion and scale inhibition under the condition of 250 ℃, and it is still very stable at high pH value, not easy to be hydrolyzed, and not easy to decompose under general light and heat conditions. Acid and alkali resistance and chlorine oxidation resistance are better than other organic phosphates (salts). It can form six-ring chelates with metal ions in water, especially calcium ions, so it has good scale inhibition effect and obvious solubility limit effect. When used in combination with other water treatment agents, it shows an ideal synergistic effect.

What is HEDP Na2 used for?
HEDP Na2 is widely used in electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, chemical fertilizer and other industrial circulating cooling water systems. It is also used in the scale and corrosion inhibition of low-pressure boilers, oilfield water injection and oil pipelines. HEDP Na2 can be used as metal and non-metallic metal cleaning agent, peroxide stabilizer and color fixing agent in bleaching and dyeing industry, complexing agent in cyanide-free electroplating industry.
